ONE SUMMER, years ago, ADAM AND GEORGIA visited a little ISLAND OF LOVE. They SWAM IN THE SEA, and wandered the STREETS, and took a GOZZO BOAT in search of COVES AND PASTA. They spent a LONG AFTERNOON at RESTAURANT IL RICCIO with TWO BOTTLES OF CHAMPAGNE, and nursed their hangovers with LEMON SORBETS SERVED IN LEMONS. GEORGIA caught a cold and ADAM brought her PASTICCINI. They thought it was one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACES THEY'D EVER BEEN.

KEY INFORMATION
The wedding will be held on Saturday the 26th of June 2027 at Il Riccio in Capri, Italy, with a late afternoon ceremony to be followed by cocktails, dinner, and dancing.
While we welcome children for the weekend festivities, the wedding day is a child-free event. We can assist with information on arranging babysitting services for the day.
We will be gathering on the Friday to welcome everyone and on the Sunday for a recovery day. These events will be open to all if you are travelling with family.

GETTING THERE & LENGTH OF STAY
The closest airport to Capri is Naples. From there it's a 20-30 minute taxi to the port and a 40 or 90 minute ferry to the island.
We will be delighted to see you whether you can come for one night or a few. If possible, we recommend arriving by Thursday evening and staying till Monday in order to enjoy the island and make the most of the weekend.
There is no shortage of things to do and you will not regret staying for longer.
ACCOMMODATION
We recommend reserving accommodation early as places book up quickly. Many sites offer free cancellation if you’d like time to decide.
Be aware that some locations may appear to be fully booked or have steep placeholder pricing when they have not yet released their 2027 rates.
Airbnbs, private villas, and apartments are the most affordable option, especially if splitting with others. If you prefer a splurge there are many beautiful hotels across the island.
Capri is very small and mostly pedestrianised; there are only roads connecting the main areas, with each situated about 10 minutes drive from one another. Buses are €2.50 and taxis are ~€20-35.
Luggage porters are available and recommended if your accommodation is quite a walk.
We will be providing transport on the wedding day. Other weekend activities are likely to be situated around Capri town and the ports and will be easy to reach from anywhere.
We recommend choosing your accommodation based around what you’d like to do with your spare time (Beach? Pool? Town? Room with a view?).
If you're unsure, please feel free to send us the accommodation options you’re considering and we can advise.
There are four areas worth considering for your stay:
1. Capri town. This is the most central location. The Piazzetta Umberto I is the hub of the island - stay close to it for easy walking to bars, cafes, restaurants, and shops. The further south or west you go from the piazzetta, the further downhill you will be going. The further east you go, the further uphill you will be going. If you don’t mind walking, these areas are quiet and have some of the best views.
2. Marina Piccola. This is the beach south of Capri town. It’s a beautiful little pebble beach and in the evenings it’s peaceful. You can rent a little boat here. It’s possible to walk to and from the town but it’s a steep walk (approximately 20-30 minutes).
3. Marina Grande. This is the port where the ferries arrive. This area has a touristy feel (lots of souvenir shops, cafes, gelato) and is very crowded during the day but can be a great option for cheaper stays by the beach. You will need to get a taxi or funicular to reach the rest of the island.
4. Anacapri. This is the other town on the island. It is much quieter and has cheaper prices. It also has a few bars, cafes, restaurants, and shops. We are not as familiar with this area but have been advised that some of it can be very remote so confirm before booking. Anacapri is the closest distance to the wedding location so this may be the best option for those with babysitting, but you will need to get a taxi to reach the rest of the island.
DRESS CODE
Formal cocktail.
Joyful glamour, Italian Riviera.
We wish to fill the space with beautiful light and bright colours and request that our guests avoid wearing black, grey, or white.
We recommend light cotton or linen suits as it will be warm.
There will be no grassy areas so heels can be worn. You may want to bring a change of shoes for dancing which you can check in with your bags.
The bridesmaids will be wearing cream, and groomsmen will be wearing pale blue.

We are so grateful to our guests for travelling to celebrate with us and your presence is more than enough.
We request that you do not bring gifts.
